Beyond

"To some, Beyond are the greatest Chinese rock band ever. To others, they are inglorious, latter-day sellouts. Indisputable, however, is Beyond’s surprising longevity in Hong Kong’s fickle music scene."

"It’s hard to overstate the importance of Beyond to Hong Kong music fans under 40. In a scene long dominated by insubstantial teen idols, Beyond have been the Beatles, the Clash and Oasis rolled into one. To this day they remain the only Hong Kong band to have made the transition from underground obscurity to mainstream stardom."

Harvesting Season

Ng Chan-yue (Francis) explained the famous dietetic idiom "You are what you eat" as "reap as one has sown" in his newest TV play "Healing Souls". I also really love the proverb appeared in the advertisement: "We will live life with no regrets, with our true love."

It seems that June is the harvesting season of the past academic year.

I received many "thanks" from my students today, saying that they are all satisfied with the result of final exam.

I am really glad to hear the good news, and my first reaction is the saying of Francis. They are just reaping their seeds.

What is my harvest? Looking forward.

Starting from the end

Today is the end of the semester, I just updated my homepage, and found nothing has been achieved in the past four months.

Starting mugging today, to say hello to the mass of coming stuffs, and to prevent a blank year in the resume.
